Well, it was just over a year ago that little Anthony was born. His grandma (Teresa Merkel-SHRI Field) just shared these photos of him with me and I just had to share!
Grandma Teresa says:
Anthony turned 1 on Feb 8th. He got a basketball and another plain bouncy one for his birthday and he loved them. He goes around saying "ball, ball"! They were to his other grandparents for Easter and his grandpa just took these shots of him and then added these backgrounds. I think he's actually saying "ball" on the mag cover one. He likes the cows at our place and says "moos, moos" all the time. So I probably will be "G'ma Moo"I have a feeling!!
Is he cute or what?! Now I know there are plenty of you out there with little ones! Be it children or grandchildren, they're ALL special so send me your updates! Everyone loves seeing photos of each others kiddos!

Well, I couldn't resist sharing this little guy with everyone. This is the grandson of Teresa Merkel (ICRA Field Staff). Now I realize not EVERYONE is a HAWKEYE fan, so if you have a picture of your someone special sporting his/her favorite colors, send it to me and I'm very willing to give equal time!

We have another grandma in our organization! Congratulations to Cindi Dryer (SHRI Central Office) who has welcomed her first grandchild into her life. Of course, we have all been telling her how wonderful "gramma-hood" is but, until you actually experience it firsthand, you have no idea.
Welcome, baby Olivia...
Grandbabies – Who instructs these tiny thieves to steal our hearts and take our breath away? And why isn’t it written anywhere that the first gift that we’ll give to our grandchildren won’t be a ducky, or a blanket, or a new pair of jammies. The first gift we give is our heart….” - Chris Shea

It's hard to keep up with all the happenings in the lives of ICRA members! Here is Cyndi Brugioni's (SHRI-field) new grandson, Jackson Alexander Nereson. He was born on September 17, 2009, weighed 9 lbs 4 oz and was 22.5 inches long!
Cyndi wrote, "He arrived on Thursday evening just as I was arriving back home from our Iowa City meetings. We drove up to meet Jackson on Friday. Thank goodness for cell phones, email, and facebook. They live in St. Paul, so we don't see them often enough, but we're able to keep up with all the new milestones."
